Tom Wolfe’s new Miami novel Back to Blood

Tom Wolfe Gets Back to Blood TRAILER from Explica Media on Vimeo.
This is the official trailer for the upcoming documentary, Tom Wolfe: Blood Lines. The film gets into the minds of one of America's great authors to show how he did his research for his soon-to-be-released novel, Back to Blood.

Local journalist shoots documentary to accompany Tom Wolfe’s new Miami novel - Miami-Dade - MiamiHerald.com "Tom Wolfe’s new Miami novel - American author and journalist Tom Wolfe has spent the better part of six years with his notebook in hand, diving into Miami — literally. At the annual Columbus Day regatta celebration off Elliot Key a few years ago, Wolfe, while standing on a boat, was soaked head to toe after a drunk pirate cannonballed into the water. It’s unclear if Wolfe was wearing his trademark white suit, but the incident is one of his new book’s longest chapters. . . . Wolfe is set to kick off this year’s Miami Book Fair International at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 with “An Evening With Tom Wolfe.” Wolfe’s chat will be followed by an 8 p.m. screening of Corral’s documentary."
